Strength Put to the Test
Having suffered a fire on Christmas Eve, this family’s strength was put to the test. Knowing they were displaced we worked tirelessly for nearly a year to restore their home and make it a place that not only celebrated their memories of nearly 30 years but a special place to create even more.
The Dining Room
This dining room was the final touch, created by repurposing an unused den, elevating the floor by three feet to be level with the breakfast area and rest of the house. The rooms were combined to give the extended family a place to come together.
Other Details
The large window was added in the rear to appreciate the acreage behind the home. A large dining table for eight floats on a hand-knotted Turkish rug.
Storage pieces were added to house Nana’s china and other family heirlooms. Personal touches fill the room and speak to the personality of the inhabitants.
